TWO YEAR AVERAGE INCOME
Without a guaranteed salary we must show consistency in income. A mortgage application typically requires TWO YEARS of T4’s plus Notice of Assessment and sometimes full T1 Generals. This average is then used to process the application.
We have many lending partners that are experienced with different income streams and will be able to help get the funding needed. The 2-year average can be shortened to a 6-month average in certain situations, by way of 6 months business bank statements.
Other streams of income for financing that helps secure a new mortgage on a purchase or refinance for the self-employed:
